Assistant Property Manager
A genuine entry point into Property Management at Place Woolloongabba: a small portfolio, no leasing, and mentoring from a PM Team of the Year.
The role
This is a genuine entry point into Property Management with one of Brisbane's strongest brands. You will run a small residential portfolio with established landlord relationships, supported rather than thrown in the deep end. A dedicated leasing team handles all leasing, a field services team covers the bulk of inspections, and you are mentored by the people who won Place's Property Management Team of the Year. PropertyMe and clear, documented workflows sit underneath all of it.
If you have twelve months behind you in leasing, property management or real estate administration and want to build a career rather than just hold a job, this is the one.
- Everyday management of a small residential portfolio with established landlord relationships.
- Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors on inspections, maintenance and property updates.
- Conducting routine inspections as required, and assisting with maintenance coordination.
- Meeting compliance requirements across the portfolio.
- Supporting arrears management, including follow-ups and documentation.
- Providing administrative support, reporting and portfolio coverage as required.
What's on offer
- Clean split of duties. No leasing at all: a dedicated leasing team has it covered.
- Minimal out-of-office inspections, supported by a dedicated field services team.
- A small portfolio to start, sized to your property management experience.
- Established, strong landlord relationships rather than a portfolio you have to repair first.
- Ongoing mentoring, training and professional development from experienced Property Managers.
- PropertyMe, clear workflows and industry-leading systems and resources.
- Pay sized to experience, with generous commissions available to supplement income.
- Wellness Thursdays and monthly social events for Woolloongabba staff.
What you'll bring
- A current QLD Sales Registration Certificate and a valid driver's licence.
- At least 12 months in leasing, property management or real estate administration.
- A genuine desire to build a career in Property Management.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with real attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities.
